Ellenbank Tango Tom and Ellenbank Tallyman (owned by Erica Clarke) attended the Tasmanian All Welsh Show in Campbell Town.
Tom came home with 2nd Welsh Senior Gelding, Reserve Champion Welsh Gelding, Best Tasmanian Bred Gelding and 2nd in the Breeders Pair with his brother Tally.
Tally also did very well and went home with 3rd Welsh Senior Gelding, 1st Leading Rein and Champion Leading Rein/First Ridden Pony with his little rider Tom Clarke. What a team!!
Ellenbank Stud have purchased a new filly! Woranora Party Girl a buckskin filly will be making her way to Tassie in the next couple of months. We have sent her upto Woranora Mosaic for a 2011 foal! We are very excited about this cross!

Chrystal Haze Abbey foaled a beautiful chestnut (going grey) filly to Cherrytree Mandarin. She has been named Ellenbank Hopscotch.

Ellenbank Tallyman and his little rider Tom Clarke won Leading Rein Pony at Hobart’s ASCOT. Congratulations to Tom and his mum Erica!!

ELLENBANK TREASURE ON LEASE
Ellenbank Treasure (Tilly) has been leased to Erica Clark. Erica plans to show Tilly and her gelding (full brother) Tally in the future. We look forward to seeing them all out in the show ring and hearing how they go!
NEW PURCHASE
Ellenbank have purchased a new filly. Glynyarra Park Bluebird has been purchased from Michele Baker at Glynyarra Park, Vic. Bluebird has arrived her at Ellenbank and has settled in very quickly. We cant wait to see how this lovely girl matures. Thanks to Michele and Ian for allowing us to purchase such a special girl.
LAST FOAL FOR THE 2009 SEASON
21/12/2009 - Ellenbank's last foal for the season finally arrived on the 9th of Feb 2010 (due 10th Jan 2010).
Karanga Tiger Lilly foaled a beautiful bay filly to Cherrytree Mandarin.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD 'ELLENBANK AMELIA'
21/12/2009 - Ellenbank Stud would like to welcome to the world Ellenbank Amelia.
Amelia was born this morning to Llangollen Arabella and Cherrytree Mandarin. She wasn’t due until the 5th of Jan. “Milly” will be staying with us as this is Arabella’s first filly for us.
ELLENBANK TRINITY HAS BEEN SOLD
Ellenbank Trinity has now been sold to a show home in Vic, she will leave here soon after weaning. She is growing into a very solid little filly with a fantastic personality!
ELLENBANK HARMONY
On the 8th of December, Chrystal Haze Abbey had her second filly for us in a row! We have named this little filly Ellenbank Harmony. She is full sister to Ellenbank Heidi (2008 filly). Harmony was born brown but looks like she will quickly turn grey.
Ellenbank Harmony is filling out nicely now and just loves to hoon around the paddock. Harmony was born on the 8th of Dec but wasn’t due until Christmas day – as you can see in the photos it hasn’t held her back!
ONE MORE FOAL FOR THE SEASON TO COME....
One more mare to foal for the season – she isn’t due till the 10th of Jan – not that the dates seem to mean much to my mares this season! This one is from a bay mare by Mandarin so it CANNOT be grey!!

LLANGOLLEN TIGER LILLY HAS FOALED
18/11/2009 - Last night at about 10.00pm Tig (Llangollen Tiger Lilly) foaled our first foal for the season by Cherrytree Mandarin, her third grey filly in a row! These photos were taken this morning, she is still scrunched up!! Her name is Ellenbank Trinity.
This filly will be for sale on weaning. Expressions of interest are being taken now. This is the first time Ellenbank has offered a filly for sale. The stud is retaining her mother to breed again.

ELLENBANK ADMIRAL
Ellenbank Admiral has been sold to a stud/show home in southern Tasmania. We wish his new owners Chris and Val Mathias the best of luck with him and look forward to seeing him out and about in the showring.

TASMANIAN ALL WELSH
On the 17th Jan 2009 we had our Tasmanian All Welsh Show. We only took Ellenbank Tango Tom along for the day, our judge in the gelding ring was Remco Dobber from Holland. Results: 1st Senior Gelding, Champion Senior Gelding and Supreme Gelding.
ELLENBANK ARCHER
We are excited to receive news that Ellenbank Archer continues to do well in his new home, winning Reserve Champion Colt at the Hunter Valley APSB Youngstock Show recently. He was also second in his Australian Saddle Pony class.

Ellenbank Foals
We entered three foals in the Warrumbungle APSB 2008 Online Foal Show (http://www.freewebs.com/foalshow). Ellenbank Treasure came 1st in her Welsh A Female class and came in 4th in the TOP FIVE foals of the show. Ellenbank Tango Tom came 2nd in the Welsh A Male Class to Ellenbank Archer, Archer came in just outside the Five Foals of the show in 7th place.

New owners of 'Ellenbank Archer' recently sent news of his first show: "He was a good boy! Got 4th in his welsh colt class and 3rd in Best Head (Arabian Derivative)."
This was Archies first show, and we are all very proud of him. Well done!
